Late Birthday Celebration

Well, my girlfriends from work took me out on the town for a late b-day celebration!! We had such a great time- went out dancing and I absolutely love to dance (although I'm not so sure I'm the best dancer- but I'm not Elaine either:)

Fall Festival

Today we decided to head out to the new Park at River Walk and enjoy the festival activities. There were lots of craft booths, food, and some games for the kids.

And I had to bribe them for this "sisterly" shot at the end of our day :)










Despite it still feeling like it was 90 degrees outside, we had fun!

Super Bee-havior!

Well, miss Tessa has earned Super Bee four times now!! This is an award from her kindergarten teacher for good behavior in class... being kind, caring, or helpful. I am soooo proud of our Super-Girl!

Nicoles Birthday Party !!

We had a great time at Nicole's birthday party. We had a wonderful dinner at P.F. Changs. Nicole is 28 years old now.

Healthy Chimichangas

1 can (29 oz) pintobeans, rinsed, drained
1 can (4oz) sliced ripe olives, drained
1 can (7oz) diced greeen chilies
1 can prepared coleslaw mix with carrots
1 cup shredded sharp chedder
1 3/4 cups salsa
6 whole wheat tortillas 10 inches or white

* combine beans,olives,chilies, coleslaw mix,cheese and 1 cup of salsa in bowl
* wrap tortillas in cloth towel and microwave 1 1/2 min or until hot and pliable
* fill tortillas with mixture,fold in all four sides
* place seam down on a lightly oiled baking sheet
* bake @ 425 until crisp and brown, about 15 min.

* Top with remaining salsa, sour cream and green onions.

Our good friends hired Brooke (in the black outfit) and another girl to work at her daughters birthday party passing out balloons. She was so excited to get paid a little cash.

Life is tiring

Aaron fell asleep in the bike trailer after a long day of playing hard and a bike ride. This is how I found him.

Where's Jill ??

Jill Burt where are you? This sight is so much fun and we want to see and hear from you and your family. Louise

Aaron loves to take hour long baths. I try to bribe him to get out but sometimes it doesn't work.

On Wednesday, the kids asked me if we could go swimming, so i let my dare devils try it out. They were in the pool for about 20 minutes and decided the water was too cold.

We are SOOOOOO Happy Fall is here!!

The girls love playing outside...and on this particular day, the leaves had been falling from the trees, so the girls dove right in! It was a lot of fun Thank God for the cooler weather (finally! :) Even the Gilbert the cat (who was originally named Lily until taking him to the vet) was in on the fun!

Friday Recipe (please add a recipe if you'd like)

Yummy, I mean yummy Taco Soup (very easy)

1 lb of gound beef
1 onion chopped
2 cans of Corn
2 cans of mexican stewed tomatos
2 cans of black beans
1 packet of mild taco seasoning

Brown the ground beef and onions, and mix all the ingredients together and cook on low to medium heat for 15 min. Serve and enjoy with totilla chips, sour cream and cheese. This is so easy and a family favorite of ours

Happy 2nd Birthday Ava!!!!

We had a birthday celebration for Ava baby...who is already 2! I can't believe it! Anyhow, we rented a great bouncer (slide and all) and the kids had a great time! Of course Jason fed us yummy food- and Ava was spoiled with many wonderful presents We are so lucky to have such great people that love and support us...especially on these special occasions :)

Does anyone know what day Grandma's birthday party will be on?
